Tree plantation was done at Sri Shankaracharya Professional University on behalf of Sri Shankaracharya Institute of Pharmaceutical Science and Research. During tree plantation, students were motivated to plant trees by making them aware of environmental protection.

Vice Chancellor of the University Prof. A. Of. Jha said that looking at the current situation, we all need to plant a tree. Tree plantation is very important to save the environment. The increasing threat to the environment, increasing heat and unseasonal rains are a matter of concern. Students need to be aware of climate change, so that they can avoid environmental problems tomorrow.

University's Hon'ble Registrar PK Mishra inspired all the students and students of the university to plant one tree each. He said that everyone must plant saplings and discharge their duty towards the environment by taking care of that sapling.

On this occasion, Assistant Registrar of the University Vinay Pitambaram and Head of the Department of Shankaracharya Institute of Pharmaceutical Science and Research Dr. Hemant Badwick, Professor Dr. Madhuri Baghel and Assistant Professors Dr. Lakshmi, Sunita Singh, Rashmi Suryavanshi, Noor Afreen, Vicky Soni, Lokesh Kumar And students including Ashutosh Pathankar enthusiastically participated in the tree plantation programme.
